Intune device management: how are your staff's devices secured?
Business Premium includes Intune, and Key IT enrols your laptops in it, so a new one sets itself up with your apps and policies at first sign-in, and one left on a tram can be locked or wiped.

A Windows compliance policy requiring BitLocker, Secure Boot, a firewall, a TPM chip and up-to-date Microsoft Defender antimalware.
Hardening profiles for Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Edge, including Office macro settings.
A conditional access policy that only grants access from devices Intune marks as compliant.

Mostly, yes. In April 2020 Microsoft renamed its Office 365 business plans to Microsoft 365, so the old Office 365 Business Premium is today's Microsoft 365 Business Standard. Microsoft 365 is the wider bundle: the Office apps plus Teams, cloud storage, device management and security. Key IT can confirm which plan you are actually paying for.

Can staff access Microsoft 365 from home?

Do we still need backup if we are on Microsoft 365?
Yes. Microsoft 365's recycle bins and retention settings only hold deleted items for a limited time, and they sit inside the same tenant that ransomware or a compromised admin account can reach. Key IT keeps a separate, immutable copy of your Microsoft 365 mail and files, so a lost mailbox or folder can be restored.
Will moving to Microsoft 365 mean we no longer need a server?
Often, yes — email, files and many workloads move to the cloud, removing the onsite server burden. We assess what, if anything, still needs to stay local, and older Windows applications can often run from Azure Virtual Desktop instead of a server in the back room. Still on an older server? Windows Server 2016 end of support arrives on 13 January 2027, after which a 2016 server gets no security fixes without paid Extended Security Updates.
