Privacy policy
Key IT Pty Ltd ("Key IT", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What information we collect
We may collect personal information including your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide when you contact us, request a review, or use our services. When we provide IT services, we may also access information within your systems strictly to deliver those services.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you request.
- To deliver, manage and support our IT and cybersecurity services.
- To communicate with you about your services and, where permitted, relevant updates.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Disclosure of your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the third-party service providers who help us deliver our services — including our email and form-delivery provider (SMTP2GO), bot-protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), website analytics (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymisation), and our website hosting and supplementary privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel) — each bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations, and where required by law. Some of these providers may store data overseas (including the United States).
Data security
As a security-first provider, we take the protection of personal information seriously, applying technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also raise a privacy concern with us. Contact us at hello@keyit.com.au or 1300 053 948. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
